Kothakotha — Child Safety Standards

Published standards covering Child Sexual Abuse & Exploitation (CSAE) and Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM), reporting mechanisms, and contact information — in compliance with Google Play requirements.

1. Our commitment

Kothakotha (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to maintaining a safe environment for all users and has zero tolerance for any form of child sexual abuse or exploitation. These standards explain what we consider CSAE/CSAM, the types of content and conduct that are prohibited, and how to report concerns.

Last updated: October 18, 2025 App name (Play Store): Kothakotha

2. Definitions

Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE): Any behavior or content that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers minors. This includes grooming, sextortion, trafficking, and related conduct.

Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM): Any visual depiction (photos, videos, or computer-generated imagery) that shows a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct. CSAM is illegal — it is strictly prohibited on Kothakotha.

3. Prohibited content & conduct

The following actions and content are strictly prohibited on Kothakotha:

  • Uploading, sharing, linking to, or otherwise distributing any form of CSAM.
  • Soliciting sexual content from or engaging in sexual conversations with minors.
  • Grooming, facilitating, or encouraging the sexual exploitation or trafficking of minors.
  • Sharing personal contact information of a minor or requesting such information.
  • Any content that sexualizes children, even in text-only form (e.g., sexual descriptions of minors).

Violations will result in immediate enforcement actions, which may include content removal, account suspension or termination, and referral to law enforcement.

4. Detection & moderation

Kothakotha uses a layered approach to identify and remove harmful content:

  • Community reporting — users are encouraged to report suspected CSAE/CSAM or grooming behavior.
  • Manual moderation — trained moderators review reports and content flagged for review.
  • Automated measures — technical tools help detect high-risk content for prompt review.

We prioritize user safety and act quickly on credible reports. When required by law or to prevent harm, we preserve and share relevant evidence with law enforcement.

5. How to report CSAE / CSAM concerns

If you encounter content or behavior that may involve CSAE or CSAM, please report it immediately using one of the mechanisms below. We review reports as a priority and take rapid action when necessary.

In-app reporting

Kothakotha includes an in-app Report option available directly on posts and replies. Use the Report button to flag content — this keeps users within the app while submitting essential details for our moderation team.

Email reporting (direct contact)

You may also report suspected CSAE/CSAM and urgent child-safety concerns by email. Please include the following when possible: URL or post ID, a short description of the concern, and any screenshots or context (never attach or forward suspected CSAM images to us — instead describe and link to them). Email:

mh.testdev@gmail.comWe monitor this mailbox for safety reports. We respond to high-priority reports promptly; response times may vary for non-urgent reports.

Emergency / law enforcement

If a minor is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services or law enforcement immediately. Kothakotha will cooperate with law enforcement and, where appropriate, share information to assist investigations.

6. Cooperation with authorities

Kothakotha cooperates with law enforcement and recognized child protection organizations. When legally required or to prevent imminent harm, we retain and disclose account, content, and connection information (such as IP logs and timestamps) to assist investigations.

Where applicable, we may also make reports to national child protection centers (for example, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children in the United States) or equivalent bodies in other jurisdictions.

7. Moderation & enforcement actions

When a CSAE/CSAM or grooming violation is confirmed or reasonably suspected, Kothakotha may take one or more of the following actions:

  • Immediate removal of the offending content.
  • Temporary suspension or permanent ban of accounts involved.
  • Preservation and disclosure of relevant data to law enforcement or child protection organizations.

8. Education & prevention

We encourage safe use of the platform by providing resources and guidelines for users, including:

  • Clear instructions for how to report concerns.
  • Reminders that minors should avoid sharing personal information online.
  • Guidance for recognizing signs of grooming or exploitation.
